The 2024 National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards will be held in Hobart from 21 November to 23 November, and by the time this article is published, the winners will be announced.

The Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in Australia’s building and construction industry, recognising innovation, craftsmanship, and professionalism across a range of categories. WoodSolutions is proud to sponsor the prestigious event, supporting three key categories: the WoodSolutions National Sustainability Residential Building Award, the WoodSolutions National Sustainability in a Commercial Building Award, and the WoodSolutions National Contract Home Award ($750,000 to $1 million).

“This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of builders nationwide and highlight the integral role timber framing plays in these remarkable projects,” said Chris Briggs, WoodSolutions Timber Framing campaign manager.

The WoodSolutions Renewable Timber Framing campaign proudly puts its message front and centre, aligning with sustainable building practices as timber remains one of the most sustainable materials available today.

The WoodSolutions Renewable Timber Framing campaign is proud to support the National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards, showcasing timber as one of the world’s most sustainable and innovative building materials.

This partnership places our industry campaign directly in front of Australia’s most influential leaders in building and construction and Master Builders Australia’s 32,000 members. It’s an invaluable opportunity to communicate the sustainability benefits of timber and timber framing while encouraging builders to engage with our free resources. By equipping them with tools to promote timber’s advantages, we aim to empower builders to share its environmental and performance benefits with their clients, driving greater adoption of sustainable building practices across the industry.

We look forward to sharing the winners of our three sponsored award categories and congratulate all the entrants and finalists for their outstanding efforts this year.
