About the Webinar
The webinar will showcase findings from the National Frame and Truss survey conducted online between February and May 2024. The survey was designed to help understand current timber resources generated during F&T manufacturing in order to redirect unused resources into a circular economy. The survey added to knowledge collated during discussions with industry representatives and site-visits, and case study examples will also be presented as part of the webinar.

About the Timber Circularity Project
The survey was conducted for the Timber Circularity Project, a three year national project led by the NCTDDL at the University of the Sunshine Coast, as part of an effort to identify alternatives to landfill for unused resources produced by a range of Australian timber-related industries. The overall goal of the project is to identify viable pathways to divert end-of-life preservative treated timber and engineered wood products from landfill. This effort supports Australia’s commitment to a circular economy by 2030, focusing on enhancing the reuse and recycling of timber materials.
