Throughout April, the Pryda team will be running, walking, cycling and swimming to raise funds for the Vision Australia “100K Your Way” Challenge.

Vision Australia is an amazing not-for-profit organisation that provides essential resources and support for the visually impaired including the training of special Seeing Eye Dogs.

The funds raised will help Vision Australia to continue their life changing work. For more information on this not-for-profit organisation, visit their website, visionaustralia.org

The cause has a special connection with Pryda Australia Sales Manager, Robyn Perkin, who has cared for six Seeing Eye Dog puppies at the start of their journey (two of which are pictured). In fact, the face of the campaign is a dog named Winnie, who was raised and cared for by Robyn until she went into full time training to become a Seeing Eye Dog.

“The support that Vision Australia provides people living with blindness or low vision is multifaceted and one of the important services they offer is providing Seeing Eye Dogs,” says Robyn.

“I have had the privilege of playing a very small part in helping these amazing dogs start their journey toward becoming skilled Seeing Eye Dogs. The commitment of this organisation to breed, care for and train these incredible dogs who make life so much better for their clients is important. So not only do we get to enjoy a fun team activity in April, we also get to raise money for a worthy cause. What could be better than that?”
