Tomorrow’s World Machinery Show on the 4th July 2025

To demonstrate our advancements, we are hosting the highly anticipated Multinail Machinery Show at our Stapylton headquarters in July 2025. This invitation-only event is more than just a showcase, it’s a statement of where we as a company are headed and how we plan to support the future of the industry.

One Touch: The Next Step in Automation

After five years of R&D, this event will launch our One-Touch Automation initiative, which will form the basis of all roof, frame and floor development over the coming decade.

Specifically, on show will be Multinail’s new truss system, featuring the GlideAway, which requires humans to touch the timber only once, from a pack of timber to a stack of trusses.

Already operational in Australia, this is the first time fabricators will see the fully integrated production line in action, demonstrating how automation can drive efficiency, reduce costs and future-proof businesses.

“We’ve coined the term ‘One Touch’ because, in our opinion, when processing timber, it’s okay to touch it once—you just need to figure out where the human can add the most value and where machines can add the most value,” Trent Taylor explains.

This modular approach allows fabricators to invest incrementally, improving specific parts of their production process while retaining the option to expand automation over time. Whether for small family run operations or large scale fabricators, our machinery solutions are designed to support the entire industry.

“We need a technology offering that goes to all levels of our fabricators,” says Trent Taylor. “Some are truss specialists, while others have a huge floor offering or wall frames. By positioning ourselves at the leading edge of technological advancements, we open up a gateway to supply more affordable technology to those smaller customers who can’t justify a big investment.”

Scaling Up for a Global Market

While Multinail remains deeply committed to its Australian customers, its global expansion, particularly into the US market, has accelerated the pace of its machinery advancements. The company’s manufacturing capabilities have grown significantly, with its Stapylton facility now housing some of the most advanced production resources in the Southern Hemisphere.

This scale allows Multinail to bring high-end automation solutions to fabricators at a more accessible price point.

“Because we’re building more machines at a faster rate, we can get things to the market in Australia a lot quicker, around the big jobs that we have for America or New Zealand,” says Trent Taylor.

Multinail’s Stapylton Site is the largest manufacturing site in the southern hemisphere for the timber truss industry.

A Partner for the Industry’s Future

Multinail isn’t just a machinery supplier; it’s a systems provider, offering end-to-end solutions that help fabricators optimise their entire production process. With the best technical support team in the industry, we ensure that customers have access to expertise, support and guidance whenever needed.

“What’s exciting is how much of this advanced technology is becoming more affordable and accessible,” Trent Taylor says. “Multinail really makes sense when you’re buying machinery from us, because just to buy nail plate isn’t a real differentiator. Where Multinail really comes into its own is when you buy your nail plate and your machinery from one place, allowing us to provide unparalleled support.”

By continuing to push the limits of what’s possible in timber prefabrication, Multinail is setting new industry benchmarks. The future is automated, and Multinail is ensuring that fabricators have the right machinery to stay ahead.
