Meyer Timber continue to invest into MT2 Treatment and DTL automation for the east coast Frame and Truss market. At this year’s FTMA Conference Meyer Timber unveiled their new PROdock Brand and showcased the Sydney Treatment and Docking upgrade. Although Meyer Timber hold large stock holdings in all 3 eastern states they still have the need to be able to follow the ever changing market trends on DTL’s and supply the market with fast availability. The Sydney investment into automation and the economy of scale in their volumes allows the Sydney operation to freight south into VIC and north into BRIS when needed to fill arising stud requirements in a multitude of lengths and grades in Softwood, F/J and even LVL stud.
National Sales and Marketing Manager Kent Powell explained, “Eliminating additional labour and processing cost by tying in the vacuum lift, the treatment, the DTL docking and the restack all in one process is what makes PROdock MT2 so attractive to our customers. When a client has the ability to order a random stud length that they don’t hold in stock quickly for a project, it saves them time, money, waste and productivity by not diverting a staff member to dock say 500 studs or even more, we fill that void for them with PROdock MT2.”
Meyer Timber hold an impressive range of DTL studs and blank stock for processing common and uncommon studs in both Australian Radiata and European species.
