We’ve been busy launching new products as part of our new strategy to diversify. We’ love to share some of the things that have worked well for us with the industry so we can all win.
1. Keep your website up to date
Your website is your persona, the face of your business to those that don’t know you
2. Get on the Socials
- We understand this is hard and may be out of your comfort zone, but if you want to create a new audience you need to speak in their language and on their platform
- Facebook – 40+ age group
- Instagram – Tradies, Men of all ages, and most people under 40
- LinkedIn is for savvy businesspeople who are trying to build their network. Your profile here will draw in potential employees
- Content should be in the same vein as your website so that it backs up your persona and profile in the market
3. Give your team the Tools to support the sell out
- Brochures
- Price Lists
- Samples
- Professional Presentations
4. Train your Team
- Everybody has room for improvement and training will lift your whole team
- Employees who are supported through training stay longer and are less likely to leave a workplace
- Training empowers your staff to think differently and be brave
5. Keep the Team Informed
- Regular ToolBox Talks or Company Gatherings (quarterly or so) allow you to take the team through where you are at with your strategy
- Staff will feel more important knowing you’re trusting them
- Staff will appreciate being kept in the loop and will be less likely to ‘fill in gaps’ where knowledge doesn’t exist
Feel free to reach out and follow our Socials, check out our website, and take a look at our brochures below.
