The Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA) is hosting their inaugural 2021 National Forest Industries Symposium & Gala Dinner! The Symposium will focus on what’s next for the forest products industries. What are the challenges we face ranging from timber supply, access to forest and what is the research and innovations we can look forward to in the years ahead, culminating in a Gala Dinner at Parliament House that evening to celebrate the achievements of the industry, plus the 10th birthday of AFPA.

FTMA Australia has booked three tables at the Dinner and our board will be attending both the Symposium & Dinner followed by our board meeting in Canberra the following day where we also hope to meet with key political decision makers.

In the past FTMA Australia has organised tables for the dinners at Parliament’s Great Hall which have always been well attended by members and sponsors alike.

So who should attend the Symposium?

The Symposium will be attended by a cross section of the industry, including:

  • Growers
  • Hardwood processors
  • Softwood manufacturers
  • Pulp, paper and bio product manufacturers
